Live History Event and Gala Dinner

Monday 23rd May, 6.30 - 7.30pm at St Martin-in-the-Fields

Tom Holland and Dominic Sandbrook, presenters of the acclaimed podcast The Rest Is History, will be presenting a special live edition of the show: The History of the Whole Wide World in One Hour at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Running from the Big Bang to the 21st century, and taking in everything in between, it will explore the trends, the currents, the peaks and the troughs that have brought us to where we are now.

Featuring a host of special guests – Robert Harris, Michael Wood and Sebastian Faulks among others – it will be raising money for the 18 Keys Project, the Amar Foundation and The Passage supporting people experiencing homelessness and refugees.

The evening represents the last and crowning event of an entire year of fund-raising by Tom and the cricket team for which he plays, the Authors XI. See here to find out more about the three nominated charities.
