On 20 September St Martin-in-the-Fields Trust hosted the YES! Gala to celebrate 800 years of recorded history of the church and the many organisations under its roof. We raised £800,000 of revenue and were able to allocate some of this towards refurbishment costs for the existing building at the 18 Keys site.

In October 2023 we learned that planning permission had been granted for this project. This came after nearly three years of considerable work by the architects, Dow Jones, the team at The Connection at St Martins, the fantastic community of supporters who posted positive comments online, and on the back of great endorsements by local councillors and politicians.

The project now moves into its public phase and we are able to approach major donors for keystone funding. With £750,000 in cash and pledges we are now looking for £1.6m to complete the project.
